Jake Sharon is an extreme geek! He jumped out of a plane! He's an Eagle Scout. He won his 8th grade Speling Bee. But he's still too much of a chicken to talk to a girl. In fact, he got eliminated on TV's "Elimidate" by a chick with a puffy face and a penchant for stupid jerks. The next week, this very same harlot saw Jake mopping a floor and picking up trash. Apparently rejecting Jake was the right choice.
However, Jake has had success as a comedian. He took first place in the 2006 Starz/ Jumpcut Stand-up contest. He appeared in a pre Super Bowl commercial for the NFL which aired on ESPN, among other sports channels. He has opened for Brian Regan at the Denver Comedy Works, swapped jokes with Rocky Laporte, became a national finalist in USA Network's 2006 "Show Us Your Character" contest, and he WON the 2007 "Wits End Survival of the Wittiest" contest! Moreover, he has brought idiocy to a new level. Hooray!
Jake also has an improv background. In 2006, he graduated from the Bovine Metropolis Improv Workshop series. Since then, he has joined 4 improv troupes. He currently hosts and produces the Bovine's own late night variety show, Bleu Cow 5 II. Bleu Cow 5 II shows every Friday night at 11:00 p.m. Do yourself a favor and come check that out.
